When sci-fi & human ingenuity merge...

The man, the myth, the legend is at it again, this time with hopes of upgrading the human race, literally. Elon and company feel its probably in our best interest to enter "the next phase" of humanity. Elon Musk mind you, is a multi-billionaire and is already at the helm of some of the most notable companies in the world, the majority of which, we would say, are aiming to, and are having massively positive global impact. Now, all that combined with real concerns that artificial intelligence (AI) may become hostile in the future; hence there being human trials set to begin in the first half of 2020' for computer-brain interfaces.

concept photo of neuralink N1 implant in human    This has to be what happens when sci-fi and human ingenuity merge. No? Well, what do you think the outcome would be if humans decided to physically merge with machinery and the internet? Please let us know in the comments, we look forward to seeing how creative you ladies/gents can get. Getting back to the point though, is it possible humans will accept having a chip embedded in to their cerebral cortex? A chip connected via Bluetooth to your cellphone & surrounding technology. As we all know, for every benefit, there is a con, although it remains to be seen what each will look like in this case.

Maybe you're aware, maybe not, but AI is a polarizing topic. Nevertheless, progress in its development continues to be made at an astonishing rate, to the tune of transhumanism being characterized as a movement. Here's the kicker, because of this rapid advancement in AI, there's people that feel we need to safe guard against it... by joining it. Of course a thought posed by the founder of Neuralink: Elon Musk, who is also working towards making humans a multi-planetary species. Well, how does one join with AI you ask.

By way of a "minimally invasive" surgery, whereby a robot due to necessity would perform the procedure, making a 2 millimeter wide incision to then be dilated to 8 millimeters, allowing for the implantation of Neuralink's N1 implant along with 100's of threads composed of thousands of electrodes that would allow for your thoughts to be read and you the ability to control technology with just a thought. What comes to mind for you? The movie Hell Raiser, for whatever reason comes to mind for us (😆).

Although we did take a somewhat blithe tone throughout this article, we do strongly encourage you to give attention to the video below; which is a condensed version of the first public introduction to Neurallink's BMI. Hosted at a CNET live streaming event, held in San Francisco. Again, let us know what you think!

We hope you enjoyed the article! Don't forget to share it! Thank you!

  • You should have come up with something more credible towards the public, it’s just downright pathetic you must think we’re the biggest fools in town if you think we’ll buy it. Sticking wires into your brains like we’re still living in steampunk Victorian times.
Maybe something related to energy waves of sorts could’ve been more believebable for the sheeple but this! what the hell is this! seriously??!
As if you weren’t ticking people with genetically modified spirochetas as probes… naughty boys…

  • We’ve had sneak peeks of this invention thanks to movies and it’s still unreal that they’re doing experiments in my lifetime. I have no interest in having this done to me but it’s wise to be aware of what’s happening.
